The CEM Regional Short Film competition is intended to engage young persons in the Caribbean Community in telling the story of our sustainable energy transition. It creates an opportunity to view the CARICOM energy story through the eyes of the end-user/ consumer.

This activity will utilize filmmaking to promote public awareness of 1) the importance of energy efficiency and renewable energy for the Caribbean; and 2) the role of energy end-users and consumers in the sustainable energy transition.

It will be executed by the CARICOM Secretariat in collaboration with the Inter-American Development Bank as a community event targeting young adults in the Member States.
