Regional Energy Dialogue Series: A CSEF Event

On Monday 16 November 2020 at 10.30 am AST, Join Past Energy Ministers during Session 1: Reflections and Outlooks as they discuss the collective progress made by CARICOM Member States on sustainable energy over the past decade, with focus on whether the many opportunities for optimizing Regional solutions and for enhancing energy integration are being taken advantage of. This constructive and solutions-oriented session participants will reflect on past issues and learnings, and provide insights on the actions and strategies that, in their respective opinions, can catalyze Regional energy transformation.
Featured Speakers include:
Mr. Darcy Boyce, who served from January 2008 to May 2018 as Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister with responsibility for Energy in Barbados; Mr Phillip Paulwell, who, most recently, served from January 2012 to March 2016 as Minister of Science, Technology, Energy and Mining in Jamaica; and Mr Kevin Ramnarine, who served as Minister of Energy and Energy Affairs from June 2011 to September 2015 in Trinidad and Tobago.
The session will be hosted by Winston Connolly, who served from May 2013 to May 2017 as an independent Member of the Legislative Assembly in the Cayman Islands, and with responsibility for the development of the National Energy Policy and Plan during the latter period of his tenure.
